Madali lang maging mahirap pero napakahirap ang buhay ng mahirap.

Maging tamad ka lang, wag kang magtrabaho, at manuod ka lang ng telenovela buong magdamag, yun, mahirap ka na.

Did you know that if you watch TV four hours a day, you will lose 'years' of productive time in your lifetime.

Rex Mendoza once said on one of his talks I attended: "Bakit ang Ferrari hindi inaadvertize sa TV? Kasi ang nakakaafford lang bumili ng mga ganyan ay mga totoo talagang mayaman na mga tao at ang mga mayayaman, hindi sinasayang oras sa panunuod lang ng telenovela. Ako nga, mula Marimar hanggang Halik, wala akong napanuod kahit isa. Pero parang kasing gwapo ko na rin si Echo, kasi pag nagdadrive ako ng Ferrari ko, may sumisigaw ng 'I Love You' sa daan." 😂

That was a turning point. I realized why the Philippines is still ranked as a third world country even up to this day because majority of Filipinos don't use their time doing productive activities.

Being rich is a "journey of the few". That's why for 6 years, I refuse to own a TV at home. Hindi pa man ako mayaman ngayon but life is better than before. 😊
